About the event
Not all plastics are created equal, and that holiday packaging can be more confusing than you think! Join EcoPress for a quick, interactive 10–15-minute introduction to plastic recycling with a festive holiday twist.
We'll explore common plastic resin codes, learn the difference between recyclable and hard-to-recycle plastics, and uncover why the recycling symbol doesn't always mean an item belongs in your recycling bin. You'll get an up-close look at different plastic materials, discover what EcoPress can transform into new products, and leave with practical tips for reducing holiday waste, along with an informational zine and other educational information.
Short, educational, and hands-on! Perfect for curious minds of all ages.
